Brief about CMC Bidar.

ಕ್ರಿ.ಶ.ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಉತ್ತರ-ಪೂರ್ವ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೀದರ ದಖ್ಖನ್ ಪ್ರಸ್ಥಭೂಮಿ. ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಕ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ,ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ನೆಲೆಯ, ಸಾಮಾಜೋ-ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಳಕಳಿಯ, ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳ, ಜೀವಪರ ಕಾಳಜಿಯ ತಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಪರಧರ್ಮ ಸಹಿಷ್ಣುತೆ ಉದಾತ್ತ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನೊಡಲಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ಭಿಕರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಈ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟತೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಾಯು ಸೇನೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವೈಮಾನಿಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರವೊಂದು ಬೀದರನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪಶು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಬೀದರನಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಗುಲಬರ್ಗಾ ಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಕೇಂದ್ರವು ಹಾಲಹಳ್ಳಿ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಬೀದರ ನಗರವು ಬಿದರಿ ಕಲೆಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿವಿಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕತೆಗೆ ಸಂಕೇತದಂತಿದೆ.

• ನಗರಸಭೆ ಬೀದರ ವರ್ಷ 1953 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಯಿತು.
• ಬೀದರ್  ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್ ಬಾಂಬೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ -9 ಜೊತೆಗೆ 40 ಕಿಲೋಮೀಟರ್ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿದೆ.
• ನಗರಸಭೆ ಬೀದರ ಜನಗಣತಿ 2001 ಪ್ರಕಾರ 1,74,257 ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.
• ನಗರಸಭೆ ಬೀದರ ಒಟ್ಟು 43,00 ಚ. ಕಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿದೆ.
• ಬೀದರ ನಗರ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಾದ ಬೀದರ ಕೋಟೆ, ರಂಗಿನ ಮಹಲ, ಮೊಹಮದ್ ಗವಾನ ಮದ್ರಾಸ್, ಬರಿದಷಾಹಿ ಗೋರಿಗಳು, ಗುರು ನಾನಕ್ ಝಿರಾ, ನರಸಿಂಹ ಝಿರಾ, ಪಾಪನಶ , ದೇವ ದೇವ ವನ, ಅಷ್ಟೂರ ಸ್ಮಾರಕಗಳು , ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ತಾಣಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೂಂದಿದೆ.

• The City Municipal Bidar was constituted in the year 1953.
• It is situated along Bombay – Hyderbad National Highway No-9 at a distance of  40 kms from Bidar.
• It has a population of 1,74,257 as per census 2001.
• It Has a Population of 2.13 as per Census 2010.
• Bidar CMC streches to an area of 43.00 sq .kms.
• Bidar City has many historic place to visit like Bidar Fort. Mohamad Gawan madras , Barid shahi Tombs, Guru Nanak Jhira, Narshim Jirha ,Papanasha.
• Bidar is one of 57 Karnataka cities in the Nirmala Nagara – Municipal   eGovernance project.

Services

Computerisation: Properties within CMC limits have been identified through field survey and the Computerisation of detail information collected through survey has been done the updation of Property tax filled by the Citizens is under process. Citizens can use online property tax application Shortly.  Birth & Death records are available online from the year 1990. Citizens are requested to use this facility for registration and obtain Birth and Death Certificates Online only . Citizens can register there Complaints online or through Phone No: 08482-229272.
